Other diseases : Wilson’s disease, quantification of copper deposition in the liver
WILSON’s disease is a genetic disorder which is characterized by a toxic accumulation of copper in the organism. The lesions are essentially localized in the liver and the brain.
In this video, we present a technique for the analysis of images, developed internally by HISTALIM, making it possible to highlight and quantify the copper deposits in a mouse liver (pathological model). This tool may be applied in toxicology, preclinical development and more specifically in the context of WILSON’s disease.
