In any case, several parameters can be combined to guarantee an automatic selection of the objects to analyse: colour, texture, shape, spacing, size etc. We have at our disposal a very complete library of image processing functions and mathematical operators, which can be combined into an algorithm allowing the automatic selection of the targeted elements.
